We are an International United Methodist community in the heart of East Orange, NJ. Our mission is to Renew and Inspire Souls Everywhere. Our congregation has a rich story of rising to new days. We were once two different churches that came together to create one faith body, we rose from the ashes of a building fire and now we have a new name, { RISE CHURCH }. What are your communion practices?

• We celebrate communion on the first Sunday of the month. We offer an open table which means that all persons are encouraged to share in this meal of life. The ushers will invite you forward. We take communion at the altar. If you wish to take communion, but cannot come to the altar, please speak with an usher.

• As United Methodists, we have an obligation to bear a faithful Christian witness to Jesus Christ, the living reality at the center of the Church’s life and witness. How can I become a member?

• We invite all people who are interested in joining our RISE family, whether you are transferring from another Methodist Church or are completely new to our United Methodist Community. We receive new members several times a year. Please fill out the visitor form below.

Rev. Veronica Palmer has served as Calvary-Roseville's Senior Pastor since 2008. Rev. Palmer is an Elder in the Greater New Jersey Annual Conference (GNJAC) of the United Methodist Church. She has served churches in urban, suburban and rural communities across the state of New Jersey.
